how we protect people
We are dedicated to the welfare of our employees, the people who contract for us, the residents we encounter, the general public and environment.
MAX Build’s Workplace Health and Safety management plan, based on the national standard, AS/NZS 4801:2001, is present through all facets of operations. We have an appointed manager responsible for this plan.
Key safeguards include:
We are compliant with all the relevant legislation.
$20,000 000 public liability insurance and workers compensation insurance.
All work is by licensed and insured tradespeople and professionals.
WH&S White Cards are held by all workers.
Visitors and workers wear Personal Protective Equipment and undergo a site induction.
Projects are audited and specific Safe Work Methods Statements are kept on site.
First Aid trained staff are on every site.
Hazard Identification and Risk Management control processes are undertaken.
Regular toolbox meetings are conducted to identify potential risks and solutions.
We ensure the prevention of pollution, the reduction of waste, conservation of resources and the proper disposal of hazardous and waste products.
Our management takes a consultative approach and always listens to our teams.
