CASINO GARDENS, 199 PYRMONT ST comprises two large residential complexes and rooftops.

MAX Build remediated defective waterproofing to 176 bathrooms within a fully occupied residential apartment building, as part of a major HBCF insurance claim over $6 million.

The contractual program duration was 87 weeks. But upon project commencement, MAX Build recommended a more effective and faster solution for the membrane system, changing from liquid to sheet, which lead to Practical Completion on the bathroom works four months early at 71 weeks.

MAX Build coordinated and directed all apartment access requirements, Owners’ finishes selections, and the sign-off process.

In addition to the above, we repaired and restored the rooftop terraces and planter boxes. The terraces included 550m2 of tiles and waterproofing, and 1220m2 of planter box waterproofing. The works were carried out with a complete Ardex sheet membrane system.
